Spam Protection

All electric communication, online promotion and other services initiated by eservices on behalf of our clients in Australia must be in complete compliance with the Spam Act (2003), Australian eMarketing Code of Practice and other anti-spam guidelines and regulatory requirements. At eservices we warrant that our clients will comply with all legislation related to the privacy of personal and other information. Any client who violates this agreement is subject to services termination and potential legal action.

The Australian Spam Act (2003) prohibits the sending of SPAM (unsolicited electronic messages). An electronic message that is sent without the permission of the recipient/email addressee is considered as SPAM.

There are 3 main requirements by law for sending commercial electronic messages;

1. The messages must be sent with the addressee's consent

2. All commercial electronic messaging with an Australian link must contain information to identify the sender of the message. This is the person/organisation that authorised the sending of the message regardless if somebody sent if on their behalf.

3. Every message must contain a functional unsubscribe facility. This facility must allow recipients to opt out from receiving any more messages from that source in the future. The unsubscribe must be honoured within five working days.
